Endswell offers traditional cremation and aquamation, also known as water cremation. Many people are drawn to aquamation because it is as green as natural burial and as convenient as traditional cremation. We are the only aquamation facility in the Triangle and we are honored to be able to offer this unique service in addition to cremation and natural burial.

Water cremation, also known as Aquamation, is a simpler, gentler, and more environmentally friendly option that avoids greenhouse gas emissions and consumes only a fraction of the energy as flame cremation. Bodies are cremated in a gentle alkaline solution that accelerates the natural decomposition process and returns the body to ashes, just like cremation.

Communities across North Carolina are running out of space in local cemeteries; and most traditional crematoriums release toxic compounds and greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
