Braylin L. Campbell

Beloved Daughter, Sister, Friend

Braylin was born April 14, 2000, to Bradley and Yolanda Campbell in Montgomery, Alabama. She was baby A of twin girls born that day, but was adamant about maintaining her own individuality throughout life. In 2009, she made her election sure by confessing Christ as a member of The Church in Norcross, GA.

Braylin was always an excellent student and although quiet, she was a leader among her peers. She was one of the first graduating seniors from Apex Friendship High School in 2018. She made us all proud being one of the surprise speakers during the commencement. She was adventurous and loved to read memoirs. She also journaled, writing a lot about her own experiences in life. Her love for music, film, dance, and photography led her to pursue a Media Studies degree with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, NC. She graduated with a Bachelor of Art on May 6, 2022.

Later that year, Braylin would begin her career as the Communications & Social Media Coordinator for Music Business Association. There she was able to make her very own mark on the music industry. She traveled, met lots of execs, and had experiences that most people dream of. She was blessed to be a part of such a great team of professionals that respected her ideas and let her flourish. Braylin was still part of the Music Biz team when the unexpected happened on August 21, 2024.

Braylin was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Minnie Campbell and leaves to cherish her memory:  Her parents: Bradley Campbell and Yolanda Campbell; her sisters: Brandi Campbell and Branna Raybon (Warren Raybon Jr.); her brothers: Bradley Porter Campbell and Brandon Cummings (Madison Cummings); and her sweet niece, Sovereign Grace Raybon.

Braylin’s maternal grandparents: Willie Thomas, Sr., and Dorothy Thomas; paternal grandparents: Borrah Campbell, Sr. (Pamela Campbell); her aunts: Lakecia Robinson (Roosevelt Robinson), Jamell Mims (Ellis Mims), Jasmine Thomas, and Tonda Relf (David Relf); her uncles: Willie Thomas, Jr. (Jacquelyn Thomas), Borrah Campbell, II (Jennifer Campbell), and Brian Campbell.
