A CELEBRATION OF MY LIFE

I leave to Celebrate my life: my daughter Angel A. Goodwin, my grandaughter Evaughn Aponte, my sister Barbara McBride, my nephew Israel Brown, my brother Tommy Felder, and my Aunt Mrs. Jessie Mae Glover.

I also leave to celebrate my life a very large number of nieces and nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends too numerous to name.

To all of you, ” I am not gone, but just away for we shall meet again another day” in a time chosen by God Almighty.

Thank you all for being a part of my journey here in this life. I have loved you all and you all have added joy to my my life. A life full of memories, laughter and tears, but most of all Love. I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life and your families, we don’t realize that all of our paths cross for a reason, some just for a season, but if you are here today, at this celebration, then you know that our journey was meant to be.

So please don’t feel bad or saddened by my passing, we all have to travel this road, for its part of that journey we begin at birth. So put a smile on your face and walk in Grace; enjoy each moment, the good as well as the not so good; dont forget to say ‘I LOVE YOU’ often, its is so little and means so much.

I want to share a little bit about myself, but most of you already know that I am the daughter of the late Evelyn Brown and her husband the late Billie Brown, I came into this life July 28, 1946. My parents raised me in Jamaica, New York. I attended Forest Hills High School and Broward Community College, in Broward, Florida.

I had a somewhat adventurous life, living and learning as I went. I met my Husband Lawrence Lincoln in 1986 and we were married in 1991. Lawrence and I, like most of you, had our moments, but “what God had joined together, we let no one put us under”. I love you Lawrence.

My beautiful daughter was given to me 1970, love you Angel. My granddaughter entered my life in 1998, I love you Evie.

To my sister Barbara, my nephew Israel, and my brother Tommy, I love you.

To Satanya Porter and her family, I love you, you are a remarkable woman.

And to all of you that came to show your respect and share in this celebration, I love you and thank you all.
