Obituary

Patricia Louise Morrison, 63, of Burlington, NC passed away on December 27th, 2023, at 5:31 p.m. at AuthoraCare Hospice Home in Burlington, North Carolina. Patricia, also known as Tricia, was born August 23, 1960. She was a beloved mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend to many. Tricia’s infectious smile and cheerful laughter would light up any room, leaving a lasting and joyful impression on all who knew her.

Tricia was strong-willed and kept it real. She cherished her children Shyrow and Ashia Sneed, as well as her fur grandchildren, Beauty and Cherry aka Munchkin. Tricia’s love and warmth extended to her sister, Barbara Morrison, her sister, Mary Morrison, her brother Reginald Morrison, his wife Tonya, her sister, Chestine Donley-Taylor aka “Tiny,” and mediate family and friends.

In her professional life, Tricia worked as a CNA from 1990 to 2008, dedicating herself to caring for others. She was known for her compassion and dedication to her patients. Tricia attended Graham High School c/o 1978, where she received her education. Outside of her career, Tricia enjoyed hobbies such as coloring books and word searches, which brought her relaxation and joy. Tricia’s faith was an important aspect of her life, and she worshipped at the New Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Patricia Morrison will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Patricia Morrison was preceded in death by her parents Rev. James W. Morrison & Lorenza Morrison of Green Level NC, Ex-Husband Robert “Bob” McNeil of Burlington NC, and Cousin Freddie Cotton of Chapel Hill, NC.
