Tamla Crisp Orr, age 65 of Sanford, formally of Graham County passed in the low morning tide of June 7, 2024.

Grandchildren; Ashlyn Rogers (James); Kaylee Orr (Dawson); Kerwin Orr.
Great grandchildren; Cayden and Emersyn Rogers; Oaklyn Orr.
Brothers; Mitchell Crisp (DiAnne); Tony Carringer; Sister; Louise Orr, the late Fran Everleigh and the late Butch Crisp.
As well as an abundance of extended family, special nieces, nephews, and friends she loved so dearly.
Tammy spent her younger years raising two children and helping Mike grow a successful construction business. She enjoyed crafting and quilting; many have received her hand stitched treasures as gifts. In her thirties Tammy obtained a degree in early childhood education. Harmonizing with children was one of her greatest contributions as a preschool teacher, known as Ms. Tammy at “A Kids Place Preschool”. Each grand and great grandchild has gotten to experience what having a devout nana feels like, as she left a heart filled stamp of love on each one.
Tammy loved traveling to the beach where she found joy, peace, and happiness by the shore and delighted in sharing her favorite eateries and attractions. She especially enjoyed dinner on the water at Sanitary Fish Market, and El’s drive in in Morehead City, NC. If your trip to the beach included children, you were sure to visit the closest aquarium and likely to arrive home with a new named hermit crab!
Tammy’s drive to serve and care for others comes from a strong faith in the Lord, compassion and selflessness. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on in the one’s left behind.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
